HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO SEE A COMEDY SHOW?

18 and up! You can be under 18 if you're with a ticket carrying legal guardian who is ok with you being there. There is grown up content warning, though.

WHERE IS THE VENUE?

In the basement of the Althea Center for Engaged Spirituality. Our entrance is on the West end of the building, facing towards Williams St.

You may see a sign that says "St Francis Center Employment Services". That means you are in the correct place.

WHERE DO I PARK?

Follow the map up above! There is street parking but we're lucky to have a parking lot. Don't park behind the office building to the southeast though, as they tow, and we don't want anyone getting towed!

OK, I THINK I'M HERE-IT'S IN THE BASEMENT OF A CHURCH?

Yes.

WHOA, FOR REAL?

Sort of, not really. It's in the basement of the Althea Center for Engaged Spirituality. They're a spiritual center, not a church. But it's funnier and quicker to say church.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

We don't really know. But we love the Althea.

We're pretty sure a church wouldn't be cool about Denver's best comedy club and the best comedy shows Denver has to offer happening in their basement, so maybe that's the difference between a spiritual center and a church.These are folks who are walking the walk on being nice and cool to everyone, which is what most religions try to teach, we think. We aren't smart, we run a comedy club.

Althea hosts a lot of amazing events and you should check them out if you are at all intrigued by the space and the vibe.
