If you aren’t familiar with Ben Roy, you’re in for a ride. Known for his raw energy, razor-sharp humor, and fiery stage presence, Ben has been electrifying comedy audiences since 2004. Often compared to legends like Lewis Black and Bill Hicks, his passionate, rant-filled style is uniquely his own — intense, fearless, and laugh-out-loud funny.

A Denver favorite, Ben first broke out on the local scene at Comedy Works before going national with performances on HBO’s Funny as Hell, Comedy Central’s Adam DeVine’s House Party, Corporate, @midnight, and This Is Not Happening. He was also named one of Variety’s Top 10 Comics to Watch, and has released three acclaimed stand-up albums.

Beyond stand-up, Ben co-created and starred in TruTV’s Those Who Can’t, alongside his Denver comedy crew The Grawlix (Adam Cayton-Holland & Andrew Orvedahl). The hit series ran for three seasons and now streams on HBO Max. Offstage, he fronts the punk band SPELLS, bringing the same unstoppable energy to his music.

Roy cut his comedic teeth here in Denver. Since then, he has been selected to perform at many comedy festivals and has been featured on HBO’s Funny as Hell series; as well as on the Comedy Central shows Adam DeVine’s House Party, Corporate, @midnight, and This Is Not Happening. Ben has released three stand-up comedy albums and was listed as one of Variety's Top 10 Comics to Watch in 2015. Along with fellow Denver Comedians Adam Cayton-Holland and Andrew Orvedahl (who collectively perform as The Grawlix), Ben created, writes and stars in TruTV’s original comedy series Those Who Can’t, which ran for three seasons. In addition to stand-up comedy, Roy is a prolific musician, currently the lead singer of SPELLS.
